What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files. Websites visited by the user send these files and register them on the web browser of your computer or mobile device. They are stored before being transmitted back to the same site during the user’s next visit. While navigating a website, the user can get on to their screen other sites’ cookies from another web server (“third-party” cookies). This is because the website contains elements such as, images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages from other domains that reside on different servers from the one of the page required. How to disable browser cookies

Select Settings
Click on Show Advanced Settings
In the “Privacy” section, click on Content Settings
In the “Cookies” section, you can change the following cookies settings:
Allow local data to be set.
Keep local data only until you close the browser.

Mozilla Firefox

Click the Firefox menu settings present in the browser toolbar on the right of the input field url
Select Options
Select the Privacy panel
Click on Show Advanced Settings
In the Privacy section, click on Content Settings
In the Tracking section you can change the following cookies settings:
Enable saving data locally
Allow tracking
Do not communicate any preference concerning the tracking of personal information
From the History section you can:
Enable saving data locally
Allow tracking

Internet Explorer

Click on options menu and select Internet Options
Click on the Privacy tab in the settings section change the slider in the desired cookies setting function:
Block all cookies
Allow all cookies
Select sites from which to obtain cookies. Move the cursor in an intermediate position so as not to block or allow all cookies. Click on Sites, then the Website Address box, enter a website and press to Block or Allow

Safari 6

Click on Safari options menu, select Preferences and click on Privacy
Under Block Cookies specify how Safari must accept cookies from websites.
To see which sites have stored cookies click on Details
Safari iOS (mobile devices)
Tap Settings, then Safari
Tap on Block Cookies and choose from several options: “Never”, “Third party and advertisers” or “Always”
To delete all cookies stored by Safari, tap Settings, then Safari, and then Delete Cookies and Data


Click on Preferences and then Advanced, and then click Cookies
Select from the following options:
Accept all cookies
Accept cookies only from the site I visit:  Third-party cookies and which are sent from a domain other than the one you are visiting will be rejected.
Never accept cookies: cookies will never be saved
