Vittorio Prato was born in Desio in 1946 and in 1965 he began working with other designers in the fields of interior design and architecture. Since 1976 he has been self-employed as a de-signer, planner and consultant, collaborating with numerous companies. He has designed new accessories for machine shops for Beta Utensili, an innovative ergonomic chair for use in den-tist’s offices for Idea and the first office chair base made from thermoplastic reinforced with microfibers for Vaghi.
